Privacy Policy

• Your account: name, username, email, phone number, and your profile — bio, portfolio and equipment, if you add them.
• What you post: job requests, uploaded footage and its details, messages, reviews, and any reports you file.
• Payments: orders, invoices and payouts. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay and never reach us. Creators' bank details are passed to Razorpay for payouts; we keep only what is needed to manage them, such as a UPI ID, a short account reference and the billing state.
• Locations: the place a job is filmed and where a clip was shot, as a pin on a map.
• Technical: sign-in records and the device and browser information needed to keep your account secure.

• To match jobs with creators nearby, and to show footage by place.
• To take payments, hold them until work is accepted, pay creators, and issue refunds.
• To store and deliver footage and files.
• To keep the marketplace safe — acting on reports, and on accounts that break the terms.
• To keep the tax and payment records Indian law requires.
• To tell you what happened on your account — by notification, and by email for payments, jobs and unread messages (the last of these can be turned off in Settings).

A pin can point at someone's home, so exact locations are shown only to the people who need them:

• Everyone else sees an approximate area, never the pin or its address. Distances in search are rounded to whole kilometres.
• A clip’s exact location is shown to people who bought it.
• A job’s exact location is shown to its client, and to the creator once they are assigned and the job is paid.

Messages are stored so they can be delivered and so you can read them later. Vlynq does not read your conversations. If you report a clip or a person, we see what you write in the report, and the person reported is not told who reported them. If you are reported and we act, we tell you why.

We do not sell your information. We use these providers to run Vlynq:

• Razorpay — payments, refunds and creator payouts.
• Cloudflare R2 — storage for footage and files.
• Supabase — our database and sign-in.
• Resend — sending our emails.

On a job, the client and the creator see each other's name and profile. Buyers and creators of stock footage do not see each other's contact details.

You can edit your profile at any time, and download your invoices from your account. To get a copy of your information or have your account deleted, write to us. Payment and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires, even after an account is deleted.
