Refund & Cancellation Policy

What cancelling costs, when you get money back, and how long it takes. Every figure that applies to you is shown on screen before you confirm.

1. Commissioned jobs

You offer a job to a creator. They have 48 hours to accept, and you pay only after they do. Your payment is held by Vlynq until you accept the delivery — the creator is not paid before that.

What cancelling a job costs at each stage

A worked example: cancelling a paid ₹50,000 job

You paid for the job: ₹50,000.00
The creator’s share (after commission, GST and TCS): ₹40,900.00
The creator keeps 25% of that: − ₹10,225.00
Razorpay’s payment fee (example): − ₹1,180.00
Refunded to your card: ₹38,595.00

Razorpay does not return its fee when a payment is refunded, so it is deducted from the refund. It varies by payment method; the exact amount for your payment is shown before you confirm the cancellation.

2. Stock footage

Every clip has a free watermarked preview, with its resolution, aspect ratio, frame rate and location listed, so you can judge it before you buy. A licence gives you the full file immediately.

Once the full-resolution file is unlocked, a licence is not refundable.
The exceptions are a verified technical defect — a corrupt or unreadable file — reported within 48 hours of purchase, and a clip we take down for a rights problem and ask you to remove from your work, which is refunded whenever that happens (Standard Licence, clause 9).

3. Storage upgrades

Creators start with 10 GB of storage. Extra storage is not refundable once it has been added to your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal.

4. How refunds reach you

Refunds go back through Razorpay to the method you paid with — UPI, card or netbanking. A cancelled job is refunded automatically, with nothing to request. Banks usually take 5–10 working days to show it. Your job page shows where the refund is.
